Blues Offering To Peace Plaque by Wedgwood
Jasper was Wedgwood’s most important contribution to ceramic arts. Named after the minerals originally used to color the stoneware, Jasper has a sophisticated matte finish and can be produced in a variety of colors, including the instantly recognizable Wedgwood Blue. Because it remains a definitive, identifiable Wedgwood material, many of the most significant Wedgwood and Bentley pieces showcase the decorative appeal of Jasper.
