Forma is the result of years of experimentation and hundreds of tests. Our newest Italian stoneware collection, Forma is also our strongest, as it is fired in a special kiln at the highest possible temperatures. Due to these high temperatures and stoneware ’s less porous makeup, the glazes appear to “melt, ” creating beautiful, organic depths of color and movement on each piece. The glazing involves a two-step process: first, each piece is bathed in glaze, and then the glaze is hand-sprayed onto each product for a more saturated look. Color consistency will be different than that of machine made products and additional variations will be seen because of the hand made, multiple step glazing process. Each piece is an authentic work of art, expect color and shade variations.
